Located south of the Mississippi River, the Downtown East neighborhood contains a number of former industrial buildings from when Minneapolis was known for flour milling. Spend the afternoon at the riverfront mill ruins and take a walk across the historic Stone Arch Bridge, which offers a great view of the city and Saint Anthony Falls. Theatre fans will enjoy being close to the Guthrie Theater.
